The ReCuerda duo has existed since 2003, and the two musicians got to know each other during their studies at the Cologne University of Music (Wuppertal). Since their debut concert tour to Madeira, the duo has given concerts at home and abroad. Both are in demand as instructors for their instrument and are considered to be one of the best duos in their genre. They teach and give concerts regularly at specialist courses and festivals.
In their concerts, the musicians present the audience with a diverse soundscape of their instruments through the performance of a wide variety of styles, including baroque mandolin and historical original instruments such as the Biedermeier guitar and the Neapolitan mandolin from the Romantic era. The duo made guest appearances in the Orangery Würzburg on the occasion of the “Mozart Summer”, in the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa and also took part in numerous concert series. Three CD recordings on the labels “Trekel Records” and “PrimTon” document her artistic work. The current CD "Gioielli del barocco" recently received the VDM AWARD.
The musician duo has dedicated numerous compositions by national and international composers.
Jeannette Mozos del Campo completed her instrumental pedagogy studies with a major in mandolin with Prof. Marga Wilden-Hüsgen at the Cologne University of Music, Wuppertal, where she also completed her studies in general music education with Prof. Karl Heinz Zarius. In February 2009 she received her diploma in artistic instrumental training from Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg. Jeannette Mozos del Campo was a soloist, concertmaster and lecturer in the Landeszupforchester Rheinland Pfalz of the BDZ, in which she played from 1998 to 2013, currently she is lecturer and concertmaster of the BDZ Landeszupforchester Nordrhein-Westfalen. Jeannette Mozos del Campo worked for many years as a music teacher at the Clara - Schumann Music School in Düsseldorf and taught at the Folkwang Music School in Essen as part of the promotion of talented students (S-Class), and from 2011 to 2012 she received a mandolin teaching assignment at the Cologne University of Music, Wuppertal.
Since 2004 she has also been working for the Bochum Municipal Music School in the subjects mandolin, elementary level and Jeki ”.
The musician is a sought-after lecturer at both national and international courses and festivals, and she regularly acts as a jury member. Her focus is on working with orchestras and chamber music ensembles and on training young musicians. Jeannette Mozos del Campo has worked on various CD recordings, she also works as an editor and editor for two music publishers and has published a mandolin textbook.
Vicente Mozos del Campo received his first guitar lessons from Giselher Jung at the Music & Art School Velbert at the age of 9. From 2001 to 2005 he studied at the Cologne University of Music, Wuppertal with Prof. Alfred Eickholt, where he received his diploma in instrumental education. In 2005 the musician began his studies in the master class of Prof. Carlo Marchione at the Maastricht Conservatorium, where he received his "Master" diploma in 2007. Vicente Mozos del Campo completed his studies with numerous internationally renowned musicians such as Leo Brouwer, Joaquin Clerch, Costas Cotsiolis, Elliot Fisk, Ricardo Gallén, Hubert Käppel and many others. He is a multiple prize winner and finalist at national and international competitions, and has worked on radio recordings (WDR and NDR ) and works as an editor for the music publisher Joachim Trekel. He is currently teaching guitar at the Bergische Musikschule Wuppertal and the Städtische Musikschule Bochum. In addition, he regularly lectures at festivals and courses. Concert tours have taken him to Spain, Portugal, Italy, Scotland, Holland, Germany and France. Vicente plays guitars by Robert Gose and Lance Litchfield and strings by D´Addario.
